Summary: Square-Enix launch their assault on the Western RPG market with this, the sixth game in the Dungeon Siege franchise and the first to appear on home consoles. Dungeon Siege 3 is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment, whose credits include Fallout: New Vegas and Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic 2, but the services of series creator Chris Taylor have been retained in an advisory capacity. Story details are currently a little vague. We only know that your hero will be returning to the Kingdom Of Ehb, which has been torn apart by political and military turmoil, and there you’ll have the task of rebuilding the 10th Legion and saving the land from ruin. All this will mean nothing to console-only gamers, so they’d best do their homework before Dungeon Siege 3 is released some time in 2011.
